Career Resources
Interned for NFL team for a couple summers. Great experience and highly recommend. I worked on the ops side so not a lot of WLB (85-100 hrs/wk), but the experience was worth it.
The people are amazing. Hard workers who take the job seriously, but you feel part of a family and you're working towards a common goal.
Perks: just about everything was paid for (meals, travel, living). End up taking a lot more to the bank than you would think. Get to work with players, coaches, execs.

What were the backgrounds of team leads? MBB? PE?
No one at the team level is from a different industry for the most part. At the team level, most execs and back office people either started with the team at the bottom, or came over from a different sports team.At the league level, I'm sure there's probably people from MBB or IB, but it's pretty rare (in my experience).
What about the stereotype that most are JD's or JDMBA's?
