I've been seeing more and more kids who are slightly brazilian get diversity programs and count as diversity? Is this ethical? And do they technically count as Latino? Thanks.

Hispanic = from a Spanish speaking country (Brazil wouldn’t count)
Agree, but I'm pretty sure for all of these diversity programs the qualifier is Hispanic OR Latino. I just looked up the three biggest ones I could think of and they said Hispanic/Latinx so Brazilian is fair game
Man wants to work in finance and doesn't know whether Brazilians are Latino. And why do you care anyway? Don't judge others and focus on your own progress
