Rolls Royce
I bought a new Camry when I moved to a tier 2 city
Think I paid around $650/mo. (Financed it at 2.49% interest)
Wouldn’t go for anything fancy because if you are moving from a place without a car then you’ll likely not stay that long and you don’t want to do the math on how much you’ll lose on the car.
How did you get such a low interest rate? I've never heard of anything below 4, but I only started researching personal interest rates in 2021
Auto loan rates for vehicles were sub 4 in 2021 https://www.statista.com/statistics/290673/auto-loan-rates-usa/?srsltid=AfmBOoqmdpNvbkz0IoPhK72sASwOVFs9PWcNFUSxd3MyBVXYeRJLjRO3
And with great credit + a lucky promotion you could beat that for sure
Get an audi rs7 (disclaimer: do not have one)
How long is your commute? Parking in a tight deck in the city? What hobbies do you have?
Get a Camry or civic
Many cars could likely get the job done but you could be balancing other considerations we don't know. Could be a used Lexus ES or RX if you don't care about cars and you want something older that is still comfy and reliable. Could be a lease on a new BMW if that's something you always wanted to try. Not enough information.
I did see a few east-coast dealers are pricing Lexus IS leases around 600 regularly, this is not a recommendation just a number to compare to the Camry above.
Where do you want to live long-term? Maybe a lease is a way to go?
Get a Lotus Emira.
I drive a Mazda 3. Not a bad little sedan. 38 to the gallon, decent handling and speed(don’t really go that fast tbh). Nice seats if you opt for the leather option. Looks nice exterior and interior wise.
Audi S5. Only answer.
Get something reliable and comfortable. A lexus or a mazda are the best bets that have a balance of sporty and reliable.
Seconded on a Lexus. If I were you i'd be looking at a 2-3 year old used Lexus IS 350 F Sport. You can have that car for 10 years.
Shi get a lambo truck my boy
As cheap as humanly possible. You do not want to be chained to a job because of your car payment. (You might not want to do this job after one year) Remember, when you go into debt you are a slave to the lender (and the one who facilitates your de-bondage through your salary.)
My fiance has a Subaru and we rip that thing around everywhere. Get a used Impreza, like 1000 miles per gallon, they’re reliable and insurance is cheap. Also easy to park in the city! Toyotas r cool too. Would encourage u to put money into assets and wait 5 yrs, then get an Audi S4 Quattro or something cool
Couple factors to think of.
Are you staying long term? Are you planning on dating? Do you like cars? How far will you be driving and where will it be parked?
If you're just going to use it for a year or two and move to NYC or something, you can get away with the cheapest beater that gets you to work on time, or you can get just a lease.
If you're planning on staying in this city or similar for the long term, and have good storage, you may want to look at something a bit nicer since you'll have to live with it.
Miata
If it's a warm, Southern type of city - Miata convertible. If it's a place with harsh winters, a 4 wheeler.
