From Virgin to Abundance in Under a Year ,and How It Spilled Into My Career

Hey guys,

I wanted to share something a little personal but also connected to career performance and mindset.

A year ago, I was in a rough spot. Stuck in a fast food job, wasting time on excuses, and honestly invisible in the dating world. My habits weren’t great either, I relied too much on the wrong “outlets” to get by.

Then last summer I took a trip to Amsterdam to visit a friend I’d met at a festival. That trip turned out to be life-changing: I had my first time there( a girl I randomly met and chatted up, not a prostitute), which gave me the spark to start working seriously on myself. Fast forward less than a year, and I went from virgin to having dating abundance. With that shift, the urge to waste time on screens disappeared. Real life became way better than any substitute.

What surprised me was how much this transformation bled into my career.

I started trading small on the side, and the discipline I was learning from dating (persistence, confidence, risk-taking) directly carried over.

That gave me the push to find a better job to actually finance my trading properly.

Eventually, it even gave me the courage to move abroad and start fresh in a new country.

Looking back, the same habits that killed my dating life before were holding me back professionally too. Fixing one area boosted the other.

So I’m curious:

Have any of you noticed that fixing your personal life (dating, fitness, whatever) directly boosted your career performance or trading discipline?

And for those who’ve lived in Vegas (or traveled there), is the dating scene really as wild/transactional as people say, or are there ways to build real connections there? I’m planning a trip soon and want to know what to expect.

Also :if anyone here relates to my story and wants the full details of how I turned it around, feel free to DM me. I usually keep the nitty-gritty off public threads, but I’m always down to swap experiences privately.
