Girls with Tattoos

Let’s say you have two women who are identical in almost every way except one has a few large tattoos and the other has no tattoos.

Which of the two would you expect to be a higher earner? Which of the two would have a lower body count? Which of the two is more likely to have gone to a top 25 university? Which of the two is more likely to have an advanced degree?

Why are the answers to these questions all the same? I have seen this throughout my life but never really understood what the cause of this correlation is.

It depends on the tattoos. If she has nice quality tats, that's hot.

Having permanent doodles on your skin is certainly indicative of someone’s character in some manner, not necessarily ‘bad’ as you’ve mentioned. In my experience, it hasn’t been a stretch to say that tatted people on average are a more ‘impulsive’ demographic. Even amongst those with tattoos, there’s a difference between those who have a several incoherent, tacky designs plastered all over themselves, compared to for instance an Iranian athlete with a Zoroastrian faravahar outstretched on his back. Or putting aside cultural imagery, could be some personally meaningful, deeply sentimental symbol, rather than purely indulgent/impulsive. Perhaps I’m just predisposed against such a ‘hobby’, idk.

permanent ink is not "doodles" - it takes a high quality tattoo artist and a lot of money to put high quality ink on your skin.

Indeed, tattoos can reflect a person's personality, experiences and values. Different tattoo styles and choices often represent different emotions and stories. For example, some people choose tattoos to express personal experiences, commemorate a special moment or express their identification with a certain culture, while others may prefer to pursue a sense of aesthetics or fashion. I understand that you may have reservations about tattoos, and this view is normal because everyone has different levels of acceptance of body art. To some extent, tattoos can be seen as a form of self-expression, but this does not mean that all tattoos are impulsive or indulgent. There are also many people who think carefully when choosing tattoos, and even spend time researching and designing these patterns. In general, tattoos reflect personal growth and change. Whether it is impulsive or thoughtful, tattoos are a personal choice that deserves our respect. Do you think your views on this culture are mainly derived from personal experience or social and cultural influences?

I'm not a red piller but I get their content suggested to me sometimes on my YouTube stream. I actually thought this guy had a reasonably interesting explanation to why tattoos on women are a red flag (I would say yellow flag, but he says red flag). Basically, tattooing throughout history has traditionally (not exclusively, depending on the culture, but generally) been a male/masculine thing that men have done for reasons related to spirituality, bonding, and warfare. Women who embrace this traditionally masculine behavior are more likely to show other masculine tendencies, such as sexual promiscuity. Gotta say, every woman I've known with a lot of tattoos has also been quite...libertine with "relations" so he may not be wrong.

I still think tattoos, done well, can look super hot.
