Goldman Sachs donates to anti-capitalist group
Anti capitalist, pro CCP group in NYC gets 12 million from Goldman. I guess they’re doing it to protect their Chinese investments?

Its gonna be hilarious when that paranoid idiot Xi decides to shut them down.
An interesting post by Drumpfy. Odd.
You can be 100% sure that this kind of donation ends up in the pocket of a CCP official. Goldman Sucks but isn't stupid, they see that Western investors are getting burned in China rn so they drop a strategic buck to secure long-term business in the country.
Agreed, cost of doing business in those places. No different than paying for a permit to operate.
Exactly, Goldman is trying to repair burnt bridges with the CCP after the whole DIDI IPO fiasco.
GS and MS made absolute bank in fees on the DIDI IPO ($88M) but they majorly pissed off the CCP. The Chinese government then passed laws banning the IPOs of "large, data rich companies" in the US, forcing them to IPO in Hong Kong or Shanghai, which cuts off a lot of future revenue from US investment banks. So now Goldman is trying to get back on the good side of the CCP.
