Guy pretends to propose, actually dumps GF

All on live air radio. Basically this guy was going to propose to his girlfriend of 5 years but found out she was cheating on him, so he got her back while thousands of people were listening. I laughed my ass off. 10 minutes long but you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't find the update anywhere, but found this comment on a site:

"ok look folks I know both of them, what happened was she begged for forgivness and he told her to kick rocks, he returned the ring and bought a new car, she is now married to Eric and has moved from the State, most of the friends pretty much took sides, his friends say she was a slut and her friends say yes she cheated but she didnt deserve this."

This is fucking gold. I'm glad there are people left like Chris that have the balls to dump a girl like this after 5 years... especially on the radio.

IlliniProgrammerFunny, but stopped listening when she started crying. Wish they had gracefully ended it then, too.

Normal human beings stop when the asshole starts crying. Bullies don't.

Agreed. There's a way to deal with things when you're wronged that allows you to maintain your class and be the bigger person... that was just horribly vindictive.

anythings fair game when cheated

I blame her for getting caught and being so fucking retarded as to not being able to deny it plain face just as much as for the cheating. Fuck, 3 years living together and you would have to have a video for me to accept it, and even then I would see if I can play the too-drunk / drugged / bet excuse. Dumb girl playing with fire = Deserved.

Dislike this, sadly. A lesson my dad taught me, never let the bastards know they've beaten you.

If a girl cheats on you, just end it. Do it respectfully, to her face, in private, explaining your reasons, giving her a chance to give her side of it, and then leave. If you wish to remain friends, fine, but otherwise delete all trace of her from your life. Had an evening of feeling sorry for yourself, and then get up in the morning to the rest of your life.

Humiliating someone, ultimately shows they hurt you. Acting in a nonchalant manner is probably the most damaging revenge.

P.S. When word gets round that's how you dump people, is any sane person ever going to date you? Think it through.

She really didn't deserve that kind of humiliation.

Baby you're the perfect shape, baby you're the perfect weight. Treat me like my birthday, I want it this way and I want it that way. It makes a man feel good baby.

I think it's hilarious, though I'd never do it. She betrayed his trust, he did the same back, but in a much more thorough manner.

Fuck that, if you know for a fact she cheated on you, only wait for a reason if you want it. My take: all you have to say is, "I'm done with you, never speak to me again." I'm all for other people getting their revenge. It's obviously showing you got hurt, and there's nothing wrong with that either.

biglawgirlfriendWhat's that radio show called? I dislike them intensely after this. What a sick thing to do. It's one thing for a hurt and angry boyfriend to rail at the cheater (in private, preferably) and it's totally another thing for these bullies to make her cry.

You don't think that the guy was incredibly hurt? How does he look about to propose to a girl he'd been with for 5 years while she doing her thing at the bar? Now I'm not saying what he did was right or ok but this would be a totally different ball game if it was the other way around.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

I do think he was badly hurt, but no, it wouldn't be a "totally different ball game" if it was the other way around. I understand his feelings - I've been in love (serious "He'll Be My Hubby!" love) and been cheated on, but I chose to end it in private and keep my dignity. Dumping someone in public, while making such a point to humiliate them, makes both of you look bad.

But nobody in this comes off as badly as the radio hosts do. Listening to that made me dislike them the most. What kind of person takes that so much malicious, perverse pleasure in building the girl's hopes up and then openly laughing at her, mocking her and asking humiliating questions while she cries? We'll all be better off when douchebags like these decide to stop slut-shaming girls in public.

this is plain mean. especially with the radio hosts snickering and laughing in the background while she was crying. yes she cheated, it's wrong, but this is so uncalled for
