Gym Bag and Work Clothes Logistics

For people that go to the gym in the morning and then straight to the office in NYC what’s the best way to pack your suit/work clothes and shoes?

Do you lug around a briefcase/work bag and a gym bag or just one larger bag? How do you keep your work clothes from getting wrinkled?

Get a place with a gym in your building or have a home gym. This is the way.

Thankfully in the summer I can wear slacks and Polos to the office.

I use my banker bag as a gym bag. I'll put my socks and belt in my loafers and then put the loafers in a dust bag.
I'll put my pants and Polo shirt in a small packing cube I have. Then I'll also put my toiletry bag in.

I used to be a briefcase guy, but this summer I've just been using a backpack, so I'll carry both my backpack and gym bag to the office. I shower in the gym in the morning. There's a steamer in the locker room but I usually get non-wrinkle clothes anyway, so it isn't an issue.

If I had to bring a full suit with me, I'd probably use a different gym bag. One that has a part specifically for suits to fold up into.

Pull up to the gym wearing my workout clothes. I carry my work laptop in a bookbag. In a separate duffle I carry my folded work clothes in one of those reusable target bags in the following manner: socks and belt rolled up in the shoes, draped over it are folded undershirt, ABC pants, and dress shirt (or polo). My duffle also carries some spare 'essentials' to get presentable (e.g., hair product, deodorant, etc.) in addition any workout gear ofc.

At the end of the workout / shower, sweaty gym clothes go in their own designated compartment in the duffle.

I don't often wear a suit jacket to work but the few times I packed one and folded it, I didn't notice a crease FWIW

Or wear your work clothes and commute with your gym clothes in your bag? Did I  really need to explain this to you?

You haven't really explained this that well. You wear your work clothes to where - work? the gym? If you wear your work clothes to the gym, then you have to change into gym clothes and then shower and then change back into work clothes? Why not just wear gym clothes to the gym with work clothes in the bag?
