Have you ever actually used IB to try/get a date?
A lot of people on here talk about how attractive the industry is and how they can get girls or guys with investment banking and say they are an investment banker and what not, but I’m curious if someone has actually ever done this or see this actually work to where somebody tells someone they’re an investment banker and somebody else becomes a lot more interested very quickly.
This is strictly just out of curiosity and wanting to hear stories of fails or successes
No one cares, at all. Do also understand there are plenty of people around cities who are making IB type money (in many cases more) who aren't slaving away 24/7. It's actually not that attractive all things considered.
Maybe 20 years ago, but nowadays there are influencers and tech workers who clear as much while not being on standby Fri-Sun.

No. If push comes to shove your employer can read that, you know. It's generally not monitored, but it's saved, so dumb idea. Also, what hot PPL are you meeting on IB that aren't coworkers?
