Any coworker who mad mouths other coworkers in front of you certainly badmouths you when you’re not around.

Can’t control what others say about you, just maintain an impeccable reputation so people will write off the bad mouther as full of shyt.

It seems way more prevalent amongst certain peers recruiting for IB / consulting vs. others. Won't go into detail but I do think some of my classmates going that route aren't people I'd trust as advisors if I was a client / company.

Edit: His takes overall are spot on. Finally watched rareliquid's video. Would agree on his take of risk aversion for people recruiting IB/consulting because of the debt they're taken on. Although there are people who genuinely want to go into IB because they want to continue working in financial services. I'm taking on debt but not 6 figures and decided against recruiting for startups post MBA because of the debt I'm taking on and wanting to pay it off within 1.5-3 years of graduating.
