In this environment lots of analysts are coming on WSO mentioning analysts getting fired. Have you seen analysts getting fired <1 years into their jobs? When does it warrant an analyst getting fired?
In the couple last layoff cycles, yes and many of them.
Cutting cost, at the highest level layoffs are just based on data. Ie. Tech team didn't bring in enough revenue to justify headcount, cuts across all level to size down the team, etc.
