Am about to move to London, but have no clue about the girls and the sex/dating scene there.
Could anyone share their opinions and experiences please?

London has a very unique selection of women: - As the largest metropolitan area in the geographical EU, London has more cultures, races and hair colors than you would normally expect or experience on the continent or just England & Wales. - You will find a huge amount of diverse women, either 1st, 2nd or even older generation immigrants, beside the native population. - Largest amount of minority women are typically: Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Polish, Russian, White-European (exclusive of White-English), but also females from all Commonwealth nations (I met a girl from Fiji in Clapham once!) - My personal opinion of hotness within the native population: 1) Welsh 2) Irish (inclusive of Irish travelers) 3) English 4) Scottish
During my years I discovered: - higher amount of alcohol consumed per woman - higher amount of tattoos, even visible ones - the average British girl has slightly more weight on them, but it is all in the right places. It looks good if you are into a more female looking figure. - very different dress and make-up style. typically less clothes and more make-up. - I think that the local girls are relatively easy to land, but keep your expectations in check - stronger segregation of women according to social classes, i.e. you can identify people easier according to upbringing, post code, accent, school they went to and so on (not saying this is a good or bad thing, just that accents in general are somehow super relevant in the UK) - you will run into a lot of Eastern European girls, some of them are super hot, just be careful what they want from you (I have heard first-hand they are interested in white-sounding last names, US green cards, quick route to children and more); not all of them are like this. there are some amazing Eastern European girls in London, especially the educated ones from a good home. - If you are interested in meeting local girls who are not city girls, get a rental car or train ticket and venture out to the home counties. the girls in the English countryside are amazing! Make sure you visit all the key events - Ascot, Silverstone, Festival Of Speed, Glastonbury/all music festivals, and so on - don't just sleep with London girls - If you are into your faith, be careful. People here can be religious, but it is not something people talk about very often or present on a daily basis. This isn't the bible belt. I found a group of Christian friends I can trust and discuss religion without offending anyone else. - For the largest city on the continent, you will find that a surprising amount of women are not willing to date outside of their race. Just as an example: my Asian male friends are accomplished but can't score a White English girl. Stereotypes exist here. - Best looking non-UK girls are typically from Scandinavian countries, Switzerland, Austrian, Dutch and potentially Italy/Spain (if you prefer brunettes) - Another hint: Due to the history and culture of the British Empire you will find a larger amount of mixed-race people. The mixed race girls can range from ugly to super-cute and gorgeous. It is hit or miss. But look out for them, they are worth it. - Easiest way to meet girls IMO: app/online, the gym (this is very relevant), public transport, through friends
If you are looking for a long-term girlfriend or at some point even a wife, please note that the British culture is very different from other cultures. We may speak a comparable language and understand each other, but fully understanding the nuances within an inter-cultural relationship will take time and effort.

Just my personal view after dating British girls over 1 decade. I left Great Britain in 2019 and only went back to visit friends recently. But the pandemic put a hold on those plans.

how do you go about meeting girls at the gym? I’ve always had the impression that they have earphones in and aren’t looking to talk to anyone
1) join a class 2) make friends quickly at the gym and have them introduce you to them 3) places like puregym are more social due to a younger crowd 4) just strike up a conversation with the girls who don't have airpods in (there are a few)
Once you run into them over a few weeks she will be willing to talk to you. Gyms can be social, especially the smaller/local ones outside of London.
this is a good summary, some places do have beautiful women/people in general who are interesting to talk to and be around. Seattle, for example, does not

not really, but I make time for them. it is all about priorities. I skipped many other things though.

I agree with everything except for the teeth bit - I have yet to find a Brit with the stereotypical bad teeth. they either get braces when they are young or get veneers as adults/or invisibrace.
fashion: fast fashion is at fault here, selling as many cheap items as possible via social media. that is the current trend globally though. just easier to sell in the UK.
Bad fashion compared to where? I find NY and even LA don't come close in terms of fashion compared to London. Also London people, male or female, regardless of ethnicity, are generally skinnier than people in the US, mostly in a good way.

Hard to say. Technically, a very attractive ethnic guy has only slightly lower odds in dating.
However, UK is an odd place if you are an Indian guy. I have been told by many female friends how much they can't stand Indian men. There are millions of Indian people in the UK and it is a bit unfair. May have cultural links to how people see some Commonwealth countries/cultures.
I think it's a matter of in-group preference but also cultural differences.

Lots of immigrants and they're typically the most attractive ones. Since Brexit fewer Eastern European girls which lowers the quality. British girls as so unattractive though. UK has a population of 66 million. Let's say 6 million are foreign born for ease of math. That's 60 million british, 30 of which are female. Of 30 million people I wouldn't be surprised if there were less than 10,000 actually attractive people on the whole island. Genuinely one of the least attractive ethnicities

so, the average girl is shorter and more overweight. If you look at the average person in the home counties or far away from London, this is true IMO. But London has so many eyes looking at you, so many professionals and the rat race... I found the girls put in more effort to look good.
The Irish and English girlfriends I had looked hot though. So it is hard to generalize.
the absolute hottest girls I had were from Scandinavia. clear winner. Been to Sweden and also worked there. Incredible.

I recommend hanging out in Soho in London. It's the better version of East Village of NYC. Cocktails are inexpensive, happy hours and good drinks are everywhere! You should have no problems meeting people there.
I don't think the avg Londoner is in great shape, many are on the fatter side (not my type). But it's such a big and diverse city that I'm sure you can find what you're looking for.
Google + reddit will be your best friend in finding more places to hangout at.
In terms of English girls, specifically, generally the biggest divide is by which school they went to.
Personally a big fan of Benenden, St Mary's Ascot, and St Paul's girls.
