Only you know how much time you need to feel energized when you wake up and get ready. For me, I shut off the alarm, get cleaned up, and try to get out the door as soon as possible, but that's borne by a strong fear of being late to things.

If you feel like there's efficiency to be had, see how much you can crunch it without feeling rushed, unduly stressed, or forgetting things, maybe?

If you aren't out of bed in exactly 14.5 minutes or under, you will lose approximately $3,456,900 in earnings over the course of your career.

It takes me about 45 minutes in the morning. That's not because I can't go faster. It's because I like to take about 20 minutes to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning before I leave my place. I don't like being rushed during those 20 minutes because it's an early morning opportunity to center myself before moving forward into the day. Whether I'm starting my day at the gym at 5:30 AM or with the commute, having that 20 minutes of quiet with a cup of coffee to relax just keeps me grounded.

It takes me about an hour, typically from 6:45 to 7:45, as I have to get my daughter ready to go as well.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.
