How the fuck did Steve get into Goldman Sachs?!?!?!?

What school did he come from? Does Harvard now have a major in wood cutting? Does Princeton now have a major in modern day how to put shit on a shelf degree???

Sure, Goldman Sachs is a premier investment bank with a market cap of over $75 billion and employs some of the smartest people on Wall Street — but Goldman understands The Folks. Especially blue collar folks. Just ask “Steve.” Source: Goldman Sachs

“Steve” is a blue collar guy — literally. He wears a chambray work shirt with his name stitched above the pocket. And he has a goatee.

“Steve” also graces the front page of Goldman Sachs’s website.

Sadly, an internet search revealed no SEC filings for Goldman Sachs associated with the name “Steve.” When asked about "Steve's" relationship to the firm — Is he a Goldman Sachs employee or a client? — a Goldman executive familiar with the website had no comment.

Don't ever forget the true Goldman Sachs:

1) Their trading software is so powerful it can be used to manipulate markets. Sources: many including NYT July August 2009

2) Their trading software is so powerful, the fbi located, survailed, and apprehended the suspect in 2-3 days. Sources: same as above.

3) Their trading software is so powerful, they can, at will, have entire quarters without a trading loss. Source: Bloomberg May 2010

4) They sell, then short muni bonds and instruct their clients to do the same. In years past, financial firms were successful when they helped their customers make money. Now, they financial firms make bigger money screwing their customers. Sources: Many including Propublica Nov 2008, Huff Post April 2010

5) They openly participate in hiding balance sheet debt of Greece, deny investors the ability to properly assess the risk. Germany considering legal action against Goldman sachs: Sources NYT Feb 2010.

6) Their CEO states that Goldman Sach is "doing God's work". Sources: many, November 2009.

Now they want us to trust Steve, hah!

every-day-profit-for-a-quarter is more the result of banking holding company status (even though GS doesn't fit the definition and is in the end a crooked government payday) then sophisticated trading software.

anycase, the PR on their homepage is sickening! There are spin-doctors and then there is GS marketing. But never underestimate the naivety of joe public.
