How to Get Through Tough GenEd Electives?

I have a near 4.0 GPA and as per my college's general education requirements, I have to take an advanced english literature course. I hate it - it's not interesting and the professor grades papers like @EliteStudent11" responds to threads. How do you guys manage to get through these classes and not get a crappy grade?

Ok most of the time I'm trolling on here but I actually have a 4.0 so here is my expert opinion: (1) think about how many hours you spend in classes, working on assignments, studying (probably not equal to or greater than 40 hours, a minimal work week). Basically stop being a pussy (2) every time you do not get an A in a class you close a door. What if years down the line you decide that you want to go to law school, you want to go to Yale TOO BAD the median undergrad gpa for Yale law is 3.92 you're fucked if you weren't pulling close to all As (3) You should be 100% committed to everything you do, why are you choosing to be in college without also choosing to fully commit yourself to succeeding in college? Go balls deep, all day erey day. Never look back

One way around this. If NO OTHER professor is available. Then take this course at a local community college or at some other university as a visiting student; and have the credits transferred back. If you positive you're not going to get an A then I'd drop it.

Also atleast @EliteStudent11" is in IB, whereas you're prepping to go into a "Tax Preparing Career" lmao

You need to find a way to make it interesting.

I don’t even get the jab you tried to make. Spend less time focusing on me and more time studying and maybe you wouldn’t have such shit grades

In Russian, there's a saying, "через не хочу." It translated to, "Through I don't want to." It means, just shut the fuck up and do it. I think more people need to adopt this mentality in the pursuit of goals.

You could have written half a paper in the time it took you to write this garbage.
