How to sync Excel files with Google Drive?

The time has come to build performance reports. Since we're a bit understaffed, I need to pitch in. The amount of copy-pasting between spreadsheets (Excel files and the main Google spreadsheet) is unbearable and, I imagine, unnecessary. I need to automate the process so that the changes in one sheet reflect in the other. Ideally, it would work both ways, but maybe I'm asking for too much. There is a good chance this will become a monthly thing (now it's being done every three months), so we have to change the way we do it now. My search showed me a couple of solutions that seemed complicated and/or not complete. As you can guess, I am neither an Excel fan nor an expert.

I don't know if you're interested in getting software, but there's one that gives you this option. Actually, the two-way integration that you mentioned is also possible. Here's how it works, you link excel to google sheets and set the flow direction (2-way in your case), and that's it.

Yes, you set rules to filter them out. I know it seems like a lot to do, but you can duplicate a flow you created, so you only need to do it once. Hope it's some kind of comfort.
