accountingbydayCongrats on your $250 piece of toilet paper.

I almost bought a share for my father in law until I realize how ridiculous it really is.

R5A7BCan you make sure Rodgers plays through the end of the season so I can win my fantasy league?

He does not need to rest in the last couple games. Thanks.

Put da fucking team on his back doe.
I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Don't be made that you aren't a minority owner of an NFL team.

Scooped some up myself. Obviously many of you wouldn't understand but then again you probably aren't a fan and you have no desire to be a part of the most successful and storied franchise in the history of American football...well, other than being in the adjacent "L" column.

Sorry I'm not sorry.

Regards

Some? That implies more than 1. I think the whole thing is stupid, but unless they're bought as gifts I really don't understand purchasing more than 1 for yourself.

If you donate $250 to the Make a Wish Foundation I'm sure they'll send you a nice thank you letter. You can frame that as well, it would be the exact same thing as your donation to the Packers (except Make a Wish would be tax deductible)

Well, a $250 donation to the Make A Wish Foundation doesn't give me the chance to shape the future of the organization like my stock purchase will.

Seriously though, I do actually donate a good bit of money to charities ever year and I don't do it for recognition. I also see how this could be seem a silly to some but it's very symbolic for those that have been life long fans, especially those of us that were born in Wisconsin. Lastly, I bought one for myself and one for my dad as a gift...although I looked into launching a hostile takeover, lol.

Every one listen the fuck up. This is proof wall street is only good at saying "buy low sell high" but not good at following it.

Yup.

But you aren't a part of the most successful blahblahblah ad nauseum. You own a poster for your wall. A $250 poster. That doesn't even have a picture of Aaron Rogers on it. Good job.

Dont Go Chasing IRR WaterfallsNo capital appreciation, no dividends, no football tickets, cannot be resold, price point above Amazon's current price per share..but you can vote on Directors!! Go Pack Go!!

It has nothing to do with investment. I like football, one day I may have enough cash to buy a team, for now I will settle for this.

Yeah I know, my buddy is a huge Pack fan and bought some this morning. If the 49ers IPO'd, I'd get in on that inflated IPO price for sure..it's like hanging a signed piece of memorabilia from an athlete on your wall

Not if you keep pissing away $250 on posters for your wall. This thing is a straight scam. Has been for 100 years, and every time they do a new issue nothing changes. It is a scam through and through. I wish my inkjet printed $250 per sheet of paper.

unknown4everwhere the hell do you buy a share of a team? I want to own a part of manchester united
You're gonna have to take this up with the Glazer family. Good luck with that. They would rather lever the shit out of Man U than give up an ownership stake in the club, which is what they already did...

unknown4everwhat is their ticker?

They are publicly owned, not publicly traded.
