I don't know how to tie a tie (by heart). Anyone else have this problem?

I can watch online tutorial instruction videos on how to tie a tie. But if one day my tie got loose randomly during the day and I had to take it off and re-tie it to my dress shirt. Then I can't remember how to properly tie the tie on the spot. Anyone else have this problem?

Nah. I did it a lot growing up and had to wear one every day early in my career, so it's the same as throwing a football or riding a bicycle. It's engrained in me.

I like a small perfect triangle double Windsor knot. I’ve never had to re-tie it during the day. Look it up on YouTube. It’s not that difficult. Also, I prefer a small dimple in the middle.

Learn the four-in-hand knot, not only is it extremely easy to tie, it’s one of the most fashionable tie styles out there and has stood the test of time to this day.

King Charles sports this style alongside many aristocrats, it is the gold standard of tie knots.

You could always opt for a half windsor or something of the likes if the four-in-hand is too wide and doesn’t suit your style.
