IDEAL TOP TIER INTERN/EMPLOYEE

Was showering the other day and thought if I got the chance to rebuild myself and live my life again. How would I build myself better? So guys, what characteristic other than physicality, would you give yourself?

For me it would be knowing the CFA volumes and Terminal like the back of my hand. Adding onto my MSOffice expertise. Also I would build myself to learn how to type faster. This is what I look for if I am going to choose my hotshot intern

There are three things I wish I had done more of during School and college.

1. I would have worked more serious jobs in HS / College -  This would have given me the opportunity to actually get some of the experience I needed sooner. My parents never came from a high corporate world background and so it was hard for them to give great career advice.  I think bluecollarfinanceguy has a story closer to this where he worked in BO during college ( my apologies if its not you).

2. I would have tried to Graduate College in 2.5 Years -  I had the ability to do this - But instead I added another major.  I would have been able to add more work experience rather than another major if I could do it again.  Think if you could be 22 with 1.5 years of experience and the same degree as your peers.

3. I would have saved a bit more.  I got a little to much into the college only happens once mindset.

I just think I could be a little closer to my goals rather than not right now.
