Idiocracy: Prophetic movie
When I look around, I'm starting to see/realize that the movie Idiocracy is a prophetic one. For example, here in Quebec, the more you have kids, the more the governement gives you tax payers money. So now, when you get in a bus in Montreal, it will be filled with poor looking people with 3-4 kids next to them.
Even recently, I was in the store down my house and in there, I saw 3 guys (early 20's) that went to my HS.
All 3 were drop outs and all 3 had between 2 and 4 kids.
On one hand, we have the marriage thread on WSO where most guys on there don't want to commit and don't want to have kids (or maybe 1). On the other hand, you have the rest of the people out there, breeding like rats (futur voters) while we have to pay for it.
Look at the ressemblance of US politicians with the actual movie characters.

Yeah, a lot have commented that idiocracy did a great job of predicting the future, regardless of being a comedy and all. Recommend everyone to watch it.
I liked it better when it was called atlas shrugged
Um, the plot of idiocracy is very different from atlas shrugged's.
I suppose if you want a 'plot' that is verbatim, I would highly recommend the novel The Marching Morons.
