Of course, there is some near term pain but America is relatively insulated given our near-energy independence. And we're see a big shift towards solar and nuclear here.
First of all since 2019 the U.S. is a net importer of oil. Secondly, oil and gas are global commodities. Everybody has the same right to buy Texan oil, be it a Japanese or your local Exxon pump station in Dallas. The U.S. is also, among the G7, the most reliant on fossil fuels...
