Is it difficult to transfer from London to New York after two years?
I am an American citizen at an American school. I have been recruiting for London SA at BBs because I think it would be nice to live abroad for a few years. Obviously a London SA would give a London return offer. That being said, after the two year analyst program, would it be challenging to return to New York?
If so, then I would just try to do SA in New York.
its gonna be way easier to start in NYC and then go to LDN as an associate at certain banks like GS, Barclays, and more that actually encourage things like this

Aren’t a lot of London offices moving to Paris and Frankfurt?
100% just do the other way around. do a 3rd year in london if you want but you won’t be able to really do NYC PE recruiting from London. until you get some decent experience under your belt it’s just not gonna be easy. even then it’s probably hard
So you suggest I do A1 and A2 in NYC while recruiting for PE, and then A3 in London?
