Is this a serious question? Why would you ever buy the older product? Could you even buy the 1g anymore? Go 2g all the way
I read some reviews, and here is what the 2g offers over the 1g: -Volume control buttons on the side of the iTouch -Built-in speaker -Nike support
Does that really warrant a higher price? Or is the 2g substantially better than the 1g? I can purchase an iTouch 1g 16GB for under $200...
but the biggest drawback of the 1g iphone for me was the recessed headphone jack, which meant your selection of headphones to use was very limited. the volume control buttons are also very useful, and if you run at all the nike function is quite great
drex, i believe gomi is talking about the iPod touch (not the iPhone), in which case the 1g has a regular headphone jack. I agree that the recessed jack was a terrible oversight on the iphone, though!
