I went to the dentist thinking I have a cavity and he told me I'm clenching my jaw throughout the day (which I knew but didn't think was doing anything), possibly grinding my teeth at night, and brushing too vigorously (lol). I got a mouth guard to sleep with. Does anyone have jaw clenching issues? I'm having to consciously not do it right now and it's really hard. What helped you?

I don't have jaw clenching issues but my dentist has noticed that I grind my teeth when I sleep. I can't control it (in fact, I didn't even know I was grinding my teeth), so just remember to wear your mouth guard.
