On the contrary. I believe it's all about getting that demographic. It was a business decision, and looking at the ratings, a surprisingly brilliant one as well. I preferred the other guy - the guy from the young turks, but the numbers indicate that MSNBC was right on the money with this decision.

1) He did not write those publications (his only writing were about economics, gold & civil liberties)
2) He was busy with his medecine practice so he couldn't verify what each contributor to the publication was writing.

He signed off on them. If Obama had signed off on 1% of those newsletters, you'd have had a fit.
And this is not including his actual statements. He also opposed the civil rights movement, as well as the congressional honor for Rosa Parks.

This assumption right here is why we have such a racial divide. Just because someone points out something that is FACTUALLY evident doesn't mean that they are being racist. I judge Ron Paul based on things he said, snippets and transcripts of interviews he participated in. I think at some point in the recent past, he had strong racist leanings. I do not know that he has them now.

I don't know RP personally, but what he is doing now is promoting libertarian ideals and trying to maximize personal freedom. JJ on the other hand continues his race baiting behavior and fanning the flames of hatred against other people.
