Kentucky Derby, Gambling, Horses, Booze

All,

I'm going to the Derby before and I want to win some money. Anyone know much about horse racing or have any solid strategies, tips, pointers, inside info, etc,. for me? Also, has anyone been to the Derby/going to the Derby? I'll be in the infield.

I've been reading up on strategies/Saturday's horses on the internet, and as of right now this is my day long strategy for the derby:

For every race I will:

$2-3 on a couple of different exacta part-wheels

$2 on a trifecta and $1 on a superfecta

For the Run for the Roses:

Partial exacta wheel: 7 different horses to finish 1st over Dialed-in

Trifecta: Uncle Mo - Dialed in - Shackleford

Superfecta: Uncle Mo - Dialed in - ? - ? -- will probably do a couple of different combos on the 3rd and 4th spot for this one. But I like Mo in first and Dialed in at 2nd.

Anybody else following this? Or know basic rules of thumb I could follow?

Thanks
