Agree with the above... these days you can get a very solid Windows computer for $800 or less, no reason to be toughing it on the Mac unless you are like a college freshman

That said I like the mechanical keyboards - Varmilo, Keychron, and Leopold all have great options. Just be careful of which switches, blue are too loud for an office setting for example

For IB purposes you don't even need to spend $800... You're using Excel and PPT, you're not running the Command Center at the Pentagon.

That said, Chromebooks and ThinkPads are cheap, customizable, and effective. Dell XPS 13 can run around that low if they're bare bones. I spent a few hundred more and was able to get a souped XPS 15 which has been an amazing investment.

Edit: didn't see this was for computers, but even so, buying a docking station and plugging in an XPS works just as good in my experience.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
