Learning languages
Hi y'all! In the down time I've had since being at home, I'm interested in learning more languages. Had two questions: 1. Are there any languages that are particularly helpful to know if I'm interested in consulting/IB? 2. Best tips/practices for learning languages (besides traveling/study abroad)?
Thanks and hope y'all having a good weekend!
Prospect in Other, hey, look at the bright side, at least you didn't get a ton of monkey shit thrown at you...here is my best guess on threads that might be helpful:

You're welcome.
Hi! What languages do you already speak? Usually, the faster way to learn a new language is by picking a related language to the ones you already speak. And regarding what languages are particularly useful to study for Consulting/IB, it would depend where you'd like to work. If you want to apply to the Belgium office, French but also Flemish (Dutch is really similar and more popular) would be the ones I'd pick if I were you.
Not IB but I am learning Python
Teaching yourself or taking a course? How is it going?
Im using Automate thr Boring Stuff with Python on Udemy. It is very accessible.
You will learn basic data structures and some useful skills to manipulate excel sheets.
It doesn't teach object oriented programming but it's not meant to and you don't need to know it to start programming.
