LinkedIn new job update? Do you wait until you pass probation period or post right away in the first month?
Title is self-explanatory. When do you post or do you not post at all? I see people posting all the time.

Unsure what a probation period is - haven’t heard of it in IB.
I updated my LinkedIn from “incoming investment banking analyst” to “investment banking analyst” the day I started. Most people in my class did something similar
It's the law here everytime we accepted an offer there's a three month probation period for basically every job, IB consulting etc. I didn't realize this wasn't common in other countries.
“It’s the law ‘here’?” Are we psychic? How are we supposed to know where ‘here’ is?
Why did you have to say “incoming” lol. I don’t understand this
What field are you starting in, and why does it matter when you update your LinkedIn?
No post, just update position on day one.
Never post anything on Linkedin, it’s cringe and nobody cares.
Making a post can be cringe but updating your title is normal - no need to wait several months to add the new role you got unless that’s standard for people in your geography
