Living in SF vs LA

So I'm currently an IB Analyst in SF, however I don't love it here. It has its perks (food scene is pretty decent, lots of nature); but the actual city life is pretty mid (shopping, nightlife, etc). I have spent quite a lot of time in LA and love it there so I'm considering recruiting for PE there. Anyone make the move from SF to LA; how has it been for you?
