Looking for Roommate in St. Louis (Summer 2025)

Hey guys - currently a 23-year-old 2nd year analyst moving to the STL area for an associate-level role starting in August 2025, specifically in downtown Clayton. Given the cost of living, having a roommate is more of a personal preference. Broadly looking for a working professional or upperclassman / grad student at Wash U / surrounding colleges. Not sure my preferences would align with what a student would want / be able to pay for but open to it nonetheless.

Have been perusing Zillow and other rental sites for the past few months, so I have a pretty good idea of the areas & neighborhoods to focus on. Not an STL native but from KC so I know a few people who grew up in the STL metro. Mainly looking at places in Clayton, UC, and some of the surrounding suburbs (Olivette, Ladue, Creve, etc)

Generally I’m open on price, specific neighborhood, property type, number of roommates, etc. as long as two criteria are met:

1. I'd like my own bedroom and own bathroom (and have been operating under the assumption that any other roommate would want the same)

2. I'd like a covered garage spot, and ideally a private garage (attached or detached) with 2+ spots and/or a driveway

Given those conditions, my searching has sometimes skewed more towards houses & townhomes in those quieter suburbs I mentioned earlier as opposed to the apartment buildings of Central West End or closer to the city center, as those criteria are a little harder to satisfy there. As previously mentioned though, I am willing to consider most areas given criteria satisfaction.

I had the same set of three roommates during all four years of undergrad and have had a really great time (so far) with my roommate during my analyst stint - I would consider all of my roommates some of my closest friends today. Let me know if you / someone you know is looking for a roommate in STL starting summer 2025 - thank you!
