LP Seeking Macro Commentary/Anecdotes

Long-time lurker here but am a generalist in an LP seat and have been seeing a bit of turmoil in the public markets in the past few weeks (have seen both a small manager blow up and a pod at one of the larger shops).

So, just reaching out to the community and wondering what you guys/gals on the frontlines are seeing? Wondering about all the different asset classes (IB/PE, HF/AM, RE, VC)

What's M&A dealflow/pipeline at your firm looking like? Are IPO prospectuses getting pulled? How are lenders reacting? Are port cos struggling? Interesting dinner conversations with senior partners? How's fundraising going? Are you ever going to give us any distributions? (jk), etc.

Also, times are tough, so feel free to just vent too; when you all are healthy and making money, so are we and our constituents.

(Lastly, although I'm a progressive and loathe the current administration, I would like to keep this relatively focused on the market environment; a distraction-free source of data points would be helpful to us all.)
