Macabacus but for Google Sheets?
Hi all,
Former IB turned startup ops - but figured I’d post here given not a real forum for this in startup land. Is there any tool similar to macabacus but for Google Sheets? Really need to run tracing precedents to audit some of the models I’m looking at and hate clicking around to add rows, adjust column widths, etc.
Any analogous tool out there?
Thanks!

You're welcome.
Google Sheets has its positives but I'd just use Excel. It's far better.
Funny that you mentioned this - I actually recently found a Chrome Extension called SheetWhiz that does the whole Macabacus trace precedents tool on Sheets (i.e., window pops up with all precedent cells that you can then click more into). For some reason I can't add a link to the extension but if you search for the tool on the Google Chrome store you'll be able to find it. Screenshot of the trace precedents tool below for reference (from their posting). Hope this helps!
Helpful - does exactly what you said it would. Thanks for sharing!
