This is actually a legit question as you might be asked this in an interview. GS even goes so far as to list on it's web site what they see as the "top" news sites/publications.

For me: NY Times (especially the business / dealbook sections) Financial Times Wall Street Journal South China Morning Post Bloomberg.com (rather, preview.bloomberg.com since I'm automatically sent there somehow) BBC News Dealbreaker blog is amusing/sometimes chats up rumor's you'll hear clients/MD's/CFO's discussing and is a good source to get the hearsay and info you won't see printed in a WSJ/FT/Bloomberg

4chan, bloomberg, 6spdonline, supraforums, bimmerforums, lewrockwell.com, mises.org

good post.

some of the sites mentioned - wsj, economist, etc. - and on the other end of the spectrum, wso and sometimes artsandlettersdaily.

i guess if you're gangster enough you will also read the spectator hahah. it's what the new yorker wishes it was.

Drudge, WSJ, Bloomberg, USA Today, The Agitator, Economist
