My suits smell urine

This may sound like a funny topic, but it’s well serious.

I wear a different suit every day at work. I have 5 different suits. I dry clean them every 4 months. But the issue is all my suits smell like urine or ammoniac, especially the trousers. I feel like my dressing is impregnated with the urine smell.

What can I do to take good care of them, remove the odour, and avoid any smelling?

NB: I would guess the smell comes from sweating and/or when using the urinals there could be some small drops on my trousers?

Go into a stall and sit down to pee and clean up afterwards like a hygienic person. Problem solved, your pants no longer stink of piss. I can't believe people need to be told how to keep their clothes clean.

Okay? Everyone where I worked urinals too... I just find it fundamentally unclean and gross because you can't clean yourself afterwards and you're exposing yourself to the risk of splash-back. I really don't know what you want me to say here.

Piss on everyone else’s clothes when they’re at the gym so no one knows the smell is yours

Be sure to be super dehydrated so everyone else’s pants are smellier

I'm going to give you the answer you deserve:

Dry cleaning removes the oil-based, non-polar stuffs in your suit pants, however does little to take care of water-based, polar stuffs in your suit pants. Oil-based cleaners remove oil-based debris, water-based cleaners remove water based debris. This is why you have persistent "ring-around-the-collar" on your dress shirts until dry cleaned. You can lightly hand wash the crotch of your pants with Woolite Black in cold water and hang dry before dry cleaning, or if you go to a higher-end cleaner like Madame Paulette tell them the issue and recommend them hitting the crotch with a spotting gun before dry cleaning.

You're welcome.
