NYC Prop Traders?
Looking to network directly with prop traders in NYC. I work for a mid-tier prop firm, not exactly an Investment Bank Prop Desk but above Day Trading Shop (think FNYS only on better days).
Definitely interested in chatting with IBank prop traders or discretionary HF guys as I have some specific questions for you guys. Don't worry, not hitting you up for a job but advice. Beers on me.

Guys I am interested in getting a market blast group together with people that have intelligent things to say about the market in realtime. Blast groups are a combination of IM and chat room. Why not just set up a group chat on Skype?
AIM is largest network and is probably tied with bloomberg for most common im program for sales/traders.

Hah, was only talking about the chatroom part. I find it easier to have chat/group/conferences with Skype's text features.
AIM is fine for me as well.
