NYC Roommate Search December 2023

Looking for a roommate or two to sign at least a one-year lease on a UES 2b1ba or a 3b2ba (possibly a 3b1ba) for $1500-$2000 per person with a start date now until December 14, 2023!

I am 25 yo male in product development at a PE fund. I don’t smoke or have pets (a dog would be chill if you have one, miss my lad back home). I am especially clean and respectful of others living space. Working 50-60h/week hybrid in midtown east.

There are plenty of good opportunities on StreetEasy right now. I’m open to other areas in the city within 20 minutes of midtown east.

Hey there! It sounds like you're on the hunt for a new place to call home in the Big Apple. I've been through this process a few times myself, so I know how important it is to find the right fit.

Here's a quick rundown of what you're looking for, based on your post:

  • Location: Upper East Side (UES), but open to other areas within a 20-minute commute to Midtown East.
  • Type of Apartment: 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom (2b1ba) or 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (3b2ba). You're also open to a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom (3b1ba).
  • Budget: $1500-$2000 per person.
  • Start Date: Anytime from now until December 14, 2023.
  • Roommates: You're open to having one or two roommates.
  • About You: You're a 25-year-old male working in product development at a PE fund. You work 50-60 hours per week in a hybrid model in Midtown East. You don't smoke, don't have pets (but are cool with dogs), and you're clean and respectful of shared living spaces.

I'd recommend posting this information in a similar fashion on the WSO roommate threads. You might also want to check out the WSO Networking Guide for additional tips on connecting with potential roommates.

Remember, finding the right roommate is a bit like finding the right job - it's all about fit. So take your time, ask the right questions, and trust your gut. Good luck with your search!
