"Waaaaaahhh!! I couldn't swim for a week. I need therapy and a huge settlement. Waahhhhhh!!"

You know that's where this story is going. I say butt rape those who bitch. Then they'll have something to cry about!

I found both very interesting. I have no doubt that the BP incident was a horrible disaster, but could this be true? We as Americans have a way of making a mountain out of a mole hill sometimes.

Oh, anyone see the pipeline break in Michigan. Don't you notice how whenever there is 1 plane crash all you hear about is place crashes on the news. Now this with oil. I am not superstitious, I just think we never hear about shit until it becomes a new story.

Food for thought.

Just knowing something that tragic has happened in the gulf has made it difficult for me to eat and sleep. I know I'm about 1000 miles away, but all those poor, poor sea creatures. Plus all those beaches. Sniff Sniff Cough Where's my money?

The sad part is there are quite a few people that weren't really affect that are going to milk the system.

You know what I love? The picture of poor animals covered in oil that the news wants to show and everyone feels bad. I hope people realize the horrible slaughter that would of awaited these animals had they not been covered in oil.

I love animals and feel bad, but people amaze me how they can be outraged over a bird dying yet not think twice about eating every other animal under the sun. Trust me, I would rather die burning in an oil slick than be veal.

Um

Liberalism?

No way. More like unadulterated capitalism at its finest/worst. The survey was done by the Ochsner, one of the largest hc services providers in the region. Who wouldn't want the government / BP to subsidize their services? More like calculated exploitation. Release a report to scare a few victims into paying for a few exams.

Pure self-interest, regulatory competition, etc... the whole brouha. Everyone knows that newspapers go for sensationalism. It's beautiful(or ugly, depending on your humanistic outlook)--but not 'liberalism' in any way.
