Perception of US military veterans at your office
Not to discount the service of those who had conscription requirements mandated by their country of origin - I find the service of everyone, regardless of conditions, to be immensely impressive and signals a degree of seriousness and discipline to me.
But explicitly, those of you working with US military veterans - what have been your thoughts in the bullpen? Bias? Presumptions of mental illness? Rockstars?
I would value hearing how people feel about veterans in their office space.
I think they're beasts. Honestly a little intimidating because they're actual heroes and I've been a cubicle boy since I graduated college. They perform just as well as anyone else on the team. We have 2, one Navy and one Army.
Helpful - thank you.
