I did not expect Lamar Jackson to be as good as he has turned out to be. In his rookie year last year, he looked okay but nothing special. His completion percentage was under 60% last year but he did run for about 700 yards. This year, his completion percentage is close to 70% and will probably rush for over 1000 yards as a QB and break Vick's record. New England has one loss this year and it was to Baltimore. This guy is a terrific football player.

Yeah, they have a solid running game and Jackson is their leading rusher. He is averaging over 7 yards per carry.
Adding on to your Brady comment, I would say that while the defense didn't look great (gave up 30), the Pat's loss was more the fault of the offense. From Edelmans fumble to stupid mental mistakes to Brady looking sluggish, I definitely think they were the ones who were lacking more. Even in the Eagles game last night, the defense carried them. As a Pats fan I hate to say it, but Brady does look a little slower this year. Part of that can be blamed on injuries across the o-line, but part really is the wear-and-tear that comes with age.

He embarrassed my Texans that's for sure, we'll be fine though - Deshaun is an elite QB, bounce back coming on Thursday night. I enjoy watching him play and love that he is sticking it to the haters claiming he should've been a wr, you never heard anyone say Josh Allen should play TE despite him being reasonably athletic and more inaccurate than Lamar. I wonder why....
I could not believe how brutally they wrecked houston. Dude is a machine, and with human bowling ball Ingram in the mix as well, that run game is fucking insane.
still a little early, but he's definitely trending up. in some of the earlier games this year, he has shown a tendency to disappear in key moments or overthrow/underthrow/throw to the wrong shoulder. but he's young and still relatively raw and to be expected. definitely a super high ceiling. as with anything, consistency is key...
