I have one question. I'll be in Singapore from this Thursday till weekend for a job interview. Do you guys know where most bankers/consultants hang out in the island? I jsut want to sample the night life as well as the professional hangout atmostphere in the city state. Plus, this will be my first time in Singapore so I'm super excited too! Yeah I've heard of Orchard's Four Floors of Whores! Too bad I can't drink, not even a drop of beer (I know it's a handicap and I'm still trying to learn).

Ministry of Sound and Zouk are popular. Btw, singaporean girls really dig caucasian guys it's basically free.

What? MOS is closed?? It was pretty popular when I was there 4 years ago. Fun fact: Abercrombie is parading topless caucasian models in Orchard road right now. Singaporean girls are screaming like Bieber fans :D

Banker hangouts are all over the place. One Fullerton, Far East Square, Customs House, KPO, etc.
Night life is ok, zouk is pretty standard, filter, some place in pan pacific hotel (I forget the name).
But I'd make time to sample the food, it's what's good... night life is so so, but food is definitely excellent.

Ahahaha wao this website is pretty US centric huh? Thanks for the great suggestions guys, but I'm actually a female college senior from a (much much poorer, I mean less developed) nearby country. So no Geylang, no red-light districts please ^_^
I will definitely check out the food and Clark Quay! I probably won't go clubbing seeing how I'm there by myself and can't drink a drop of beer to save my life, but if you guys have any favorite bars, feel free to recommend! Thanks :)
