Should I tell boss?

ok so, I'm getting circumsized in a couple months and I'm going to need 4 doctor appointments:

  • Initial consultation
  • Pre-assessment examination
  • Surgery/procedure
  • Follow-up

Plus a couple of days of WFH after the procedure. Now in the IBD industry, "doctor appointments" are often associated with interviews and whenever you see someone saying they have a doctor appointment, especially multiple you get frowned upon as everyone think's your interviewing.

So based on me having 4 appointments and also requiring to WFH, should I tell my boss? On the other hand, If I tell them I'm having a procedure they will ask what for.

How should I approach this?
