smart, cool businesses (not necessarily in finance)

What have you guys seen as seriously cool ways to hack the system, and do a fun job as a living?

1) One of our MBA alumns opened up a golf school for the ultra-rich and celebrities in Hawaii. He built a tropical paradise, and the world's wealthiest come over from Asia and USA, to have a great retreat and get taught by Tiger Wood and Jack Nicholas. Because that's where Jack and Tiger go to unwind and practice during their off-time, and yeah get paid crazy money for putting a round or two with so-and-so CEO.
I bet half the guests are flying in private.

2) One of my friends, who is a PM in a hedge fund here in Hong Kong, started a side business importing kosher Israeli wine.
It's a fun side-job and he and another finance guy (ex-PWM) bring in multiple palettes now, because it's unique and trendy to have Israeli wine. They also sell several case loads per day to the Asian airlines flying to Israel.

3) one friend has a series of theme bars that are sponsored by brands, as a brand extension. For instance they have a Mercedes Benz bar+restaurant+showroom.
Basically it's got an MB car in the entrance, they have MB stuff all over the wall, the drinks and food are MB-themed, and while they make some money on food+drinks, since F+B sucks money-wise, they get MB to fork over lots of cash to sponsor the place. Very high-end place. They do the same for a few other luxury brands.

What else have you guys seen as a cool way to hack the system?
