Starting an import/export business?
I'm looking to start an import/export business in an overseas market where I see some significant opportunities and government incentives. But I don't know too much about logistics or supply chain management. Anybody know any resources or books to teach myself?
Look up the Export-Import Bank of the US (https://www.exim.gov/), they have a fair amount of resources on their site. Also check out some of the export/import insurance brokers (https://www.exim.gov/tools-for-exporters/broker-and-lender-locator), they work closely with exporters and insurance providers (e.g., Atradius, Coface, etc.) as well as governmental agencies that promote exports.
