Study Abroad Senior Year and Job Search

I am a junior in college right now sort of regretting not studying abroad this year and thinking of going senior fall now if possible. Best case would of course be getting a return offer from my upcoming internship and that might be even more ideal than going now as the job hunt would officially be over. However, I'm worried that if I do not get a return, I'll be even more screwed by deciding to go abroad and not being on campus for full time recruiting. Just wondering if anyone here has done a study abroad senior fall and any advice on it as pretty much everyone I know is going or went during junior year. Has anyone tried recruiting full time while abroad? Don't want to screw up and miss out again on a study abroad experience but want to stay practical as well.
