Team Building Games for Offsite

Last year my team did a "Squid Games" type of activity where we were put in groups and had to make a tower out of marshmallows and spaghetti, break cookies apart into shapes, throw marbles close to a wall, etc. It was kind of fun but also pretty stupid.

One time we did a crossword puzzle where the words were names of our deals, and the clues were some details about the deals.

For my team offsite this year I've been asked if I can think of an activity we can do. Has anyone done one that they particularly remember or liked?

Big fan of escape rooms - they are a lot of fun, and useful in reinforcing the need to work together as a team. If you have a big group, could have a few teams and compete against one another - drinks on the cost center of whoever loses!

Similar to your crossword puzzle - a fun one is to setup a jeopardy game in PPT, split into teams and then you can compete with one another.. basically quiz bowl style.

If your team/group is close knit enough or simply not too stuffy - Improv games are awesome. They have, as always, folks you can hire to come into groups for a few hours/full day - but you can pretty easily look up a few and run them yourself.
