I get the Florida joke, but by the numbers it's kind of a silly question haha. Florida has less gun deaths in total than California and nearly identical per capita to Illinois, two states with incredibly restrictive gun laws and orders of magnitude lower gun ownership. Not to mention West Palm is not Chicago lol, so yes, it's very unusual. It'd be a bit less shocking if it were in the ghetto parts of downtown Miami or in Miami Beach.
