Ibiza:
Highlights: Known for its beaches and nightlife.
Stay: Ushuaïa on the beach is a popular choice.

Hit Rincon solo in this exact window this past December… went out surfing with a local guide and tried to hit all the good bars / restaurants. Was unreal, absolutely loved it there I’ll be back hopefully this coming winter

How about Indonesia? I know a lot of people might choose Europe because it's winter but I think Indonesia would be perfect Indonesia is honestly such a gem. When we visit there the weather is perfect - hot and sunny without being overwhelming. And there's so much natural beauty between the beaches, jungle areas, volcanoes and other things to do when we visited there the culture is also really interesting, and the food is amazing. You get influences from across Asia. And since it's the other side of the world, it feels totally removed from the chaos of Western Christmases. I think it would be such a great way to spend the holidays but if you want more of this place you could check out this article I've read https://gowithguide.com/blog/indonesia-tourism-statistics-2023-all-you-need-to-know-5383 take time to read if you have time! I hope this recommendation helps you!

5 days isn’t really enough for Indonesia - takes 1 day to get there and get back so visit would only be 3 days.

How are people going to give reasonable recommendations when they have no idea where you are coming from. Living in NY / SF / London / Asia means many different optimal vacation spots due to a limited time of 5 days.
