(UK) What bank account / debit card do you use?
Looking to shift my account away from Santander as I don’t like the mobile app (too slow).

Career Resources
HSBC Premier & Chase. Have used Barclays premier but you don’t get anything for it.
Trust me Santander's is one of the better apps out of the brick and mortar banks... They are my main current and savings account.
I keep the current account because it's a grad account and it's a free overdraft should I need it.
Other accounts I have: Barclays premier, Monzo, starling, NatWest. If you're looking for the best app it's Monzo probably. Starling is good if you get cheques regularly (i.e. if you live in 2005) because you can process them on the app. Barclays app is absolutely horrendous. NatWest is okay.
Right now I'm primarily using the Barclays Avios Plus credit card for the 100k Avios points scheme. Also have an Amex and other random credit card.
Do you think the Amex Platinum Cashback card is a good option to use for everyday spending?
Great option!
Pretty average. If this is your first amex credit card I'd try and get the best sign up deal you can get. Many people go for AMEX gold for the Avios points sign-up bonus. Do some more digging. If you fuck up your first amex, you have to wait 2 years (without an amex) until you're eligible as a new customer again (i.e. until you can get sign up offers again).
HSBC Premier is pretty good too, I would say they have the best app out of the incumbents
I use HSBC (Premier), Amex (Avios) and revolut.
Barclays (Premier), Amex (platinum), Revolut (for traveling)
Same here but Wise for travelling.
