Glenn 28 I grew up in Rockville, Maryland and moved to Arlington in 2006

My main "areas of expertise" at the moment are related to the Defense industry, since I have been working in it and learning about it for a few years.

Academically, I studied exercise science as an undergrad, and then went back to school almost 2 years ago. Right now I'm finishing up certificate programs in economics and accounting, which basically covers the junior and senior level courses I would have taken if I were an econ major with a minor in accounting, plus a few extra classes thrown in.

Other than all of this, I play soccer a few times a week as another interest of mine. I've played since I was a teenager, so I'm pretty into it.

My main goals right now include starting my GMAT preparation and getting ready to apply to MSF (MS in finance) programs here in the DC area during the fall. My next career goal is also to start an internship in equity research covering defense companies next summer, or earlier than that, so I might be starting CFA level 1 studying later this year.

In terms of this group, I'd just like to get more of a feel as far as what's out there with different career tracks people have taken and see the amount of work it took to get there, and interact with people that are working as hard as I am to reach their goals. I like being around other motivated people, since I have big goals for myself, but it will take plenty of work to get there.

Meeting days/time: Saturday or Sunday around 2 PM would work well for me.. weekends during the early to mid afternoon would be best.
